Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday received Druze spiritual leader Sami Abi Al-Muna and a delegation from the committee formed by the recent interfaith spiritual summit, which includes representatives of Lebanon's religious leaders. The delegation briefed Salam on the outcomes of the spiritual summit held last week at the Druze Community headquarters in Beirut.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam praised the results of the gathering and its role in easing tensions, countering hate speech, and preventing sectarian strife. Earlier, the prime minister welcomed Abi Al-Muna at the Grand Serail's outer courtyard during an official reception, where a unit from the Prime Minister's Guard rendered honors to the Druze leader.
