Beirut: Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh met with the Lebanese youth delegation at his office in the National Library in Sanayeh, prior to their participation in the International Children's Cultural Forum in Moscow, scheduled from the 19th to the 23rd of this month. The meeting followed an official invitation extended by the Russian Ministry of Culture.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the gathering, which included the young participants' parents, Salameh commended the creative talents of the participants. He highlighted the significance of such forums as platforms for promoting cultural dialogue and exchanging experiences among younger generations.
Salameh addressed the participants, underscoring the importance of cooperation, holding fast to their cultural identity, and taking pride in their national heritage. He encouraged them to represent Lebanon positively, continue developing their talents through education and training, and build friendships with peers from different cultures, which he described as the true message of the forum.
The Minister reaffirmed the Ministry's full support for initiatives that open new horizons for talented youth and emphasize their role in fostering communication among peoples. He extended his best wishes for their continued success.
The Lebanese delegation, showcasing talents in music, painting, and acting, includes Lamar Choukeir, Rita Ajaltouni, Lia Fouani, Daniel Namour, Emmanuel Azar, and Gael Saadeh.
