Beirut: Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh on Thursday met Pakistan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Salman Athar, at the National Library in Beirut's Sanayeh district to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the cultural field.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Athar said cultural ties between Lebanon and Pakistan were developing positively and that the meeting had explored ways to promote Lebanese culture in Pakistan and Pakistani culture in Lebanon. He also briefed Salameh on preparations for Pakistani cultural events planned in Beirut, Tripoli, and other regions to coincide with Pakistan's National Day on August 20.
