Beirut: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has declared its full support for Lebanon as it takes firm measures in response to the recent attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The Kingdom emphasized its backing of the Lebanese Republic’s efforts to address threats to the security of its citizens and to manage the situation surrounding the assault on the UN peacekeeping forces.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Saudi News Agency (SPA) reported that Saudi Arabia reiterated its support and confidence in the initiatives led by President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. The Kingdom acknowledged the critical national tasks undertaken by the Lebanese Army, which play a significant role in ensuring security and stability in the region.
