Beirut: Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes earlier on Monday targeting several towns in southern Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the strikes hit the town of Beit Lif, as well as the outskirts of Jmaijmeh near a gas company and the town of Yater in the Bint Jbeil district.

Additional airstrikes were reported on the towns of Qabrikha and Deir Seryan in the Marjayoun district.
