Security Update: Israeli Strikes Continue Across South Lebanon; Death Toll in Marwaniyeh Rises to Six

Beirut: Israeli airstrikes continued on Tuesday across southern Lebanon, targeting the towns of Srifa, Borj Qalaouiyeh, Ghandoorieh, and Dbaal in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts: The Health Ministry's Emergency Operations Center announced that the final toll from Monday's strike on Marwaniyeh, in the Sidon district, rose to six people killed, including a woman and two children, while four others were wounded, among them a woman and a child.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Lebanon's Civil Defense said rescue teams worked throughout the night and into the morning at a residential building hit in Marwaniyeh, recovering the bodies of six victims and rescuing three injured people who were transferred to hospital for treatment.

Civil Defense teams said they continue to carry out search, rescue, and relief operations despite difficult field conditions.
