Chouf: The snowstorm currently hitting Lebanon blanketed the mid-altitude regions of Chouf, bringing traffic to a standstill in the higher areas and forcing the closure of several institutions, including schools.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the heavy snowfall also led to the closure of the main road connecting Maaser el-Chouf to the Cedars and Kefraya in the Bekaa.
