Minister of Youth and Sports, George Kallas, on Monday welcomed in his office at the Ministry, Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Baris Ulusoy, accompanied by the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Orhan Aydin.

Discussions touched on the necessity of activating communication in order to revive the agreement in the fields of youth and sports between the two countries, which reached its final stages in 2016 and included very important items.

Ambassador Ulusoy referred to the cordial relations between Lebanon and Turkey and the importance of activating them, highlighting “the more than 140 projects implemented by TIKA in Lebanon, which aim to focus on the needs of society, and people in general, and youth in particular.”
