Beirut: An explosion occurred inside St. Elias Church in the Douweila area.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported that ambulances were transporting the injured and victims from the site of the explosion inside the church, and that internal security forces were deployed to secure the area.
The agency added that there were deaths and injuries as a result of the suicide bombing inside the church.
