SUSPECTED DRUG SMUGGLERS KILLED IN THAI MILITARY RAID

The Thai Army has killed 5 suspected drug traffickers and discovered almost 500,000 methamphetamine pills in the north of the country.

After refusing a search the group of five began a firefight with the military, which was ended in five minutes, according to the official statement.

The shootout is the latest in a series of the drug-related altercations, involving 21 deaths through last months.
