Beirut: Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday as he arrived in Doha at the start of his first official visit to the Gulf country.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Sharaa is accompanied by Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani during his trip to Qatar. No official statement has yet been released about the content of the talks between the two leaders.
