Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, stressed the “need to accelerate the adoption of the 2018 Budget by the cabinet so as to refer it to the Parliament for approval.”
“If the budget is not approved before March 5, then it is almost impossible to pass it, and the international conferences will thus be affected,” the deputies quoted Speaker Berri as saying.

On the subject of oil and borders, Berri stressed that Lebanon is a united front in defending our sovereignty and our oil wealth and our maritime and land borders.”
