Marking “International Nursing Day”, Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, on Tuesday resorted to twitter to pay tribute to the dauntless endeavors and sacrifices of nurses in their fight against the novel Coronavirus.
“On World Nursing Day, we bow to the ‘Angels of Earth’ — the nurses — who are facing grave challenges fighting the Coronavirus pandemic, in cooperation with the medical body, administrators, and workers in various fields,” Diab tweeted.
“Be proud of your message because we are proud to have you with us,” he said as addressing nurses. “You’re a protective and caring shield for the sick and the injured, yesterday, today, tomorrow, and always. A white rose for every nurse as a token of thanks and appreciation,” Diab’s tweet added.
