A security meeting was held Monday at Army Commander General Joseph Aoun’s office in Yarze, attended by General Security chief Abbas Ibrahim, Internal Security Forces chief Imad Othman, and State Security chief Tony Saliba.
They agreed to adopt measures to reinforce stability in Lebanon.
The meeting assessed the outcome of the security plan adopted by the army and the security services on the occasion of the holidays.
Participants also agreed on the adoption of a series of measures to strengthen security in the country and control land and seas borders.
The meeting also agreed on the coordination of efforts to counter terrorism and the pursuit of saboteurs and security violators.
