Telephone Call Between Pakistani and Lebanese Prime Ministers Highlights Regional Tensions

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan engaged in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam of Lebanon, as reported by the Pakistani Prime Minister's Office on the "X" platform. During the call, Prime Minister Sharif condemned Israel's actions against Lebanon and expressed condolences for the loss of lives resulting from the ongoing hostilities.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized Pakistan's commitment to regional peace, referencing the ongoing peace talks between Iran and the U.S. as part of this effort. The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, expressed gratitude for Pakistan's peace initiatives and sought its support in ending the attacks on Lebanon.

Both leaders agreed to maintain communication as part of their efforts to address the regional conflict and work towards peace.
