The liberation of a kidnapped person and the arrest of the kidnappers in Umm Qasr, in Basra

The Basra police liberated a kidnapped person and arrested the kidnappers in Umm Qasr district, west of the province.

The media of the Basra Police Command stated in a statement: “The liberation of the kidnapped person and the arrest of the accused took place one hour after the occurrence of the kidnapping crime, with a qualitative and proactive process through follow-up and information gathering.”

It added: “Legal measures have been taken against the kidnappers and they have been referred to the judiciary.”
