A force from the Diyala Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces launched a security operation to secure the Diyala River.

The Popular Mobilization media stated in a statement that “a force from the 28th Brigade in the Popular Mobilization carried out an operation to search and clear the areas on the banks of the Diyala River, with the participation of explosives detachments and military engineering.”

It pointed out that the formations of the Diyala Operations Sector Command carried out preemptive operations within the plan to secure the Arbaeen visit.
