Netanyahu's decision to consider talks with Lebanon reportedly came after discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump and envoy Whitkov.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, former Israeli Minister Ron Dermer is a potential candidate to lead Israel's delegation in the anticipated negotiations with Lebanon. The involvement of Dermer could signify a strategic diplomatic approach by Israel in dealing with the ongoing tensions.
