An asset freeze and travel ban has been imposed on Nabiullina, the British Foreign Office said Friday.

Britain has also put in place new services and goods export bans, targeted at “vulnerable sectors of the Russian economy,” in response to President Putin earlier signing an accession decree to four territories.

The US slapped Russia-related sanctions on hundreds of individuals and companies just hours after the decree was signed.
