Tel Aviv: The UNIFIL extended warm greetings to the people of Lebanon on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, through a statement released today. The statement read: “Eid Mubarak! May this occasion bring compassion, unity, and peace.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, UNIFIL emphasized its ongoing commitment to supporting the Lebanese Armed Forces in their efforts to restore security and stability in the southern region. The statement urged all parties to exercise restraint, continue dialogue, and seek long-term solutions to ensure lasting peace in the area.
