Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of National Defense, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zeina Akar, on Wednesday welcomed Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardiere, with whom she discussed the current situation in Lebanon and the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Minister Akar also received the Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, with the Federation’s conditions and activities featuring high on their talks.

Akar also met with a delegation of the Beirut Port Martyrs’ Families Committee, with discussions reportedly touching on the situation of martyrs’ families and their relevant demands.
