A depositor on Friday stormed BLOM Bank’s Tarik Al-Jadida branch and demanded his bank deposit, our correspondent said.

“While the he held the bank’s staff hostage, a number of citizens and depositors attended in display of solidarity with the depositor,” NNA reporter added.

Meanwhile, the bank’s administration took the initiative to contact the security forces that duly came to negotiate with the depositor and lead him out of the branch.
