Beirut: US special envoy to Syria announced on Sunday that Syria and Lebanon need to reach peace agreements with Israel after the war between Israel and Iran opened a new path in the Middle East.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Tom Barak said in an interview with the official Anatolia News Agency: “President (Ahmed) Sharaa indicated that he does not hate Israel… and that he wants peace on the border. I believe this will also happen with Lebanon. An agreement with Israel is essential.”
