US forces have once again brought new military and logistical reinforcements to their bases in Hasakah, northeastern Syria. A field source said, according to Sputnik Agency, that "US forces brought in a military convoy consisting of 40 vehicles containing logistical equipment, weapons, ammunition and fuel tankers through Al-Waleed border crossing with Iraq to Hasakah Governorate." Since the beginning of August, US forces have continued to reinforce their bases in the Syrian Jazira, and are bringing in more military and logistical equipment, in addition to conducting military exercises with live ammunition and artillery.
