US-Israeli Airstrikes Target Iranian Petrochemical and Nuclear Facilities

Tehran: Iranian media reported that U.S. and Israeli warplanes continued airstrikes on Iran today, targeting multiple sites, including a petrochemical facility.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the state-run *Tehran Times*, published in English, said an airstrike hit a facility belonging to Iran's Ministry of Agriculture in the western city of Mehran. Another strike reportedly targeted the Mahshahr Special Petrochemical Zone in Khuzestan Province, in southwestern Iran.

The semi-official Fars News Agency reported that several explosions were heard late Saturday morning at the facility. Meanwhile, the semi-official Mehr News Agency reported that four companies within the zone were struck.

Separately, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization stated that an area near its nuclear facility in Bushehr was attacked, resulting in the death of a security guard and the destruction of a building.
