Rashid conveyed his greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah, lauding the the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and peoples. Al-Faraya also conveyed the King&#8217;s greetings to the Iraqi President. In a separate meeting, Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammad al-Sudani, received al-Faraya and his accompanying delegation. Al-Faraya underlined Jordan&#8217;s firm position under the leadership of His Majesty the King and its support for all efforts aimed at strengthening the security and stability of Iraq as a fundamental pillar for the security and stability of the region &#8220;and part of our national security.&#8221; Al-Faraya voiced to the Kingdom&#8217;s full support for the Iraqi government steps toward restoring Iraq&#8217;s role and position within its Arab surroundings and enhances its stability, prosperity and sovereignty over its lands.
