The heads of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, and the National Security Agency, Hamid Al-Shatri, stressed the need for concerted efforts by state institutions in the field of combating corruption, preserving public money, and exchanging information regarding the corrupt, in preparation for pursuing them and bringing them to justice.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
During his visit to the headquarters of the National Security Agency and his meeting with its chief and advanced staff, Hanoun praised the agency and its distinction in the field of pursuing information, and investigation, especially in economic and corruption-related crimes, calling for an increase in the pace of cooperation and coordination between the two parties, especially in the field of implementing arrest warrants and travel bans, and exchanging information related to corruption cases related to national security.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
For his part, the head of the National Security Agency, Hamid Al-Shatri, welcomed the proposals aimed at developing the staffing of the two important institutions and increasing their skills.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
It was agreed between the two parties to twin the work, and to conclude an agreement aimed at cooperation in the field of implementing arrest warrants issued against perpetrators of corruption crimes, and coordination in the field of auditing, checking and analyzing information related to employees whose information is required to be checked and audited, and implementing policies and instructions related to the security aspect of individuals, buildings, information, devices and documents, as well as developing the skills of the employees of both parties in the use of modern technologies and information systems, to develop approved work methods to achieve the objectives of both parties.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The agreement to be concluded will include joint cooperation in preparing and exchanging studies and research related to the competence of the two parties, exchanging information in areas related to corruption cases that may affect national security and the economic interests of the state, and organizing joint media campaigns in the field of informing society of the seriousness of the effects of the crime of corruption and the extent of its impact on the national security of the state.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
