{"id":51066,"date":"2021-05-10T06:00:47","date_gmt":"2021-05-10T06:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lebanonnewsgazette.com\/?p=51066"},"modified":"2021-05-12T06:03:04","modified_gmt":"2021-05-12T06:03:04","slug":"usj-aldic-launch-first-dodelfasad-anti-corruption-tutorial-for-professional-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lebanonnewsgazette.com\/usj-aldic-launch-first-dodelfasad-anti-corruption-tutorial-for-professional-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"USJ, ALDIC LAUNCH FIRST &#8220;DODELFASAD&#8221; ANTI-CORRUPTION TUTORIAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SECTOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NNA &#8211; As part of the &#8220;Dod el Fasad&#8221; campaign, St. Joseph University (USJ) and ALDIC (Lebanese Association for Taxpayers&#8217; Rights and Interests) are launching an educational tutorial dedicated to the fight against corruption in the private and public sectors.<\/p>\n<p>This tutorial, available in English and soon in Arabic, is a first in Lebanon and is available free of charge at Dodelfasad website ( https:\/\/www.dodelfasad.com\/en\/actmember\/register )<\/p>\n<p>The tutorial aims to help employers and employees to better understand corruption in the business sector, to identify and avoid corruption and to deal with it appropriately if they face it.<\/p>\n<p>Upon completion of this course, employees should be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the various definitions of corruption concepts<\/li>\n<li>Know what conduct is ethically wrong and legally punishable<\/li>\n<li>Identify certain areas vulnerable to corruption<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to prevent, identify and fight cases of corruption that occur around them.<\/li>\n<li>Acquire the right reflex to deal with corruption cases or suspicions of corruption within the company<\/li>\n<li>Better understand the current situation in Lebanon (existing laws etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Employees who have followed the course will have to complete three quizzes which will allow them to receive a certificate of completion. They will also be invited to sign the Citizens&#8217; Declaration on the fight against corruption.
