NNA – Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, on Wednesday received at his Yarze residence, Caretaker Minister of Interior, Mohammad Fahmi, who fully condemned the most recent statements against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
In the wake of the meeting, Fahmi confirmed that the allegations about Nineveh, Palmyra, and Anbar, were utterly erroneous. He reiterated the fact that the Kingdom\u2019s assistance to the Lebanese army and security forces had helped these forces overcome all the obstacles that faced Lebanon during the fight against terrorism.<\/p>\n
\u201cI confirm that the Kingdom is a safety valve for all Arab countries without exception, including Lebanon, let alone the 300,000 Lebanese citizens making a living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,\u201d Fahmi said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI confirm that what has been issued against the KSA is fully condemned and rejected altogether,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Fahmi finally indicated that his visit and stances to Bukhari came in his personal capacity as Lebanon\u2019s Minister of Interior.<\/p>\n
