Airport – Caretaker Energy Minister Raymond Ghajar arrived at Beirut airport this afternoon, coming from Baghdad after signing an agreement with the Iraqi government.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Speaking to newsmen at the airport, Ghajar said: “The agreement includes importing one million tons of fuel for Electricit\u00e9 du Liban, and it would not have been possible without the efforts of Major General Abbas Ibrahim.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He added, “This agreement will allow for providing electricity for a period of four months. We want the interest of the Lebanese state, and we take fuel in return for services.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cThe government in Iraq trusts Major General Ibrahim, who opened the doors for us, and we did the part that was required of us,” Ghajar concluded.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
