President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, cabled this afternoon Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, condemning the terrorist attack that targeted an Egyptian army post in the western Sinai region.<\/P>

Aoun said in his cable that he \u201cfollowed with disdain the details of the terrorist attack that targeted the western Sinai region and resulted in fallen martyrs and wounded in the ranks of the Egyptian army,\u201d adding that he \u201cstrongly condemns this deplorable attack that harms Egypt\u2019s security and the stability of its brotherly people.\u201d<\/P>
<\/P>
President Aoun expressed the solidarity of Lebanon in this ordeal, offering deepest condolences over the fallen martyrs and asking the Lord Almighty to rest their souls in peace and grant their families patience and consolation to endure their loss.<\/P>
<\/P>
\u201cI am confident that your country will overcome this aggression and emerge strong from it, thanks to your wise leadership and the cohesion of your brotherly people,\u201d the President\u2019s cable concluded.<\/P>
