Caretaker Minister of Economy, Amin Salam, on Friday welcomed a Qatari economic delegation, including representatives from Qatar\u2019s Ministries of Commerce, Industry, Labor, Health, and Interior, as well as officials representing the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n

The meeting discussed the best means to develop economic and trade relations at all levels between the two countries, with a special focus on investment opportunities and cooperation between Qatari and Lebanese companies within the fields of trade and services.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve discussed the possibility of economic cooperation between our brotherly countries, especially the possibility of providing support to small and medium-sized companies, as well as promising investment possibilities within the framework of a long-term economic strategy,\u201d Salam said.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThe meeting has also been an opportunity to listen to the requests of the Qatari delegation, which explained to us various means of cooperation at the commercial and service levels, and their benefits for the economies of both of our countries,\u201c Salam added.<\/p>\n
