ZOUK MOSBEH HIGHWAY CUT OFF IN PROTEST AGAINST DIRE ECONOMIC CONDITIONS

A number of protesters cut off the western lane of the Zouk Mosbeh Highway with trash containers, in protest against the simmering economic and living conditions and the collapse of the Lebanese pound, our correspondent reported on Thursday.

This took place amid the deployment of army units in the area.
