Beirut: MP Bilal Abdallah posted on "X" that "the decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to exempt our students in French universities from registration fees constitutes a message of solidarity and support for the Lebanese people."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Abdallah emphasized that this gesture, occurring during the challenging circumstances that Lebanon is experiencing, serves as a declaration of France's continued positive role in protecting Lebanon. He further noted that this support persists despite France's loss of soldiers who fell on Lebanese soil in the south.
