Beirut: MP Bilal Abdallah submitted a request to Speaker Nabih Berri to convert his previous question to the government into a formal interpellation, citing the government's failure to respond within the legal deadline.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the question concerned the non-implementation of Article 126 of Law No. 44/2008 (Tax Procedures Law), particularly the failure to share salary-related tax declarations with the National Social Security Fund for verification purposes. Abdallah invoked Article 131 of Parliament's bylaws to proceed with the interpellation.
