Tripoli: MP Adib Abdel Massih expressed strong condemnation on Sunday regarding the shooting incident targeting Safwan Shahhal, the Secretary of the Order of Engineers in the North. The incident occurred in the Abi Samra area of Tripoli, resulting in Shahhal's injury.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Abdel Massih took to his X account to denounce the act and emphasized his commitment to support the syndicate. He stated that he had reached out to Chawki Fatfat, the Dean of the Order of Engineers in Tripoli, to express solidarity and offer resources to the syndicate. Abdel Massih reiterated the importance of justice and the rule of law in dealing with such incidents.

He urged security and judicial authorities to act swiftly in identifying and bringing the perpetrators to justice. Abdel Massih highlighted the necessity of holding those responsible accountable to prevent such attacks from undermining citizens' safety and the authority of the state.
