Tripoli:President of the Republic Joseph Aoun commenced his visit to Tripoli with a tour of the city's Serail, engaging with officials and relevant authorities to reinforce state presence and support.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, President Aoun addressed the people of Tripoli, emphasizing the state's commitment to standing by its citizens and restoring trust by providing necessary services. He highlighted the importance of accessible services for maintaining human dignity and rebuilding trust among the populace.

During his visit, President Aoun underlined the inseparable link between development and security, praising the efforts of security agencies in safeguarding the citizens. He acknowledged the historical neglect faced by Tripoli and stressed the urgency of addressing it through planned projects aimed at creating job opportunities for local residents.

President Aoun expressed his belief in overcoming obstacles through determination, asserting that the interests of citizens should take precedence. At the State Security Center in the Tripoli Serail, he reiterated the importance of security, urging officials to fulfill their duties with integrity despite resource limitations and external pressures.
