Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of National Defense, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zeina Akar, on Thursday visited the Military Academy on the occasion of the Army Day on August 1, where she was received by the Academy Commander, Brigadier General P.S.C Georges Saqr, and a number of officers.

During her visit, Minister Akar met with the Academy’s graduating officers and first and second-year student officers as well as military men.

In her delivered word, Akar expressed her pride in the graduating officers and those who are pursuing their military and academic studies, stressing the importance of adhering to the principles of the army as this is the only way to protect the homeland and defend its land, people, security and stability.
