The President of the Government of National Unity, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Libyan Investment Authority, Abdelhamid Al-Dabaiba, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, member of the Board of Trustees, “Al-Siddik Al-Kabeer”, met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Investment Authority, “Ali Mahmoud.”

The meeting discussed the activation of internal investments, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Investment Authority, the Director of the Oversight Department of the Sovereign Sector at the Audit Bureau, “Reda Qarqab,” and the Director of the Oversight Department of the Service Sector at the Bureau, “Abdul Basset Jaboua.”

During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the necessity of activating internal investment for important projects and coordinating with all state institutions to ensure the legality of procedures and the involvement of international offices as houses of expertise, stressing the need to continue the strategy of disclosure, transparency and governance launched by the Foundation under the supervision of the Board of Trustees.

Al-Kabeer stressed that the completion of a number of projects that have been suspended for ten years and implemented by foreign companies is a priority after evaluating the assets and investment feasibility.

For his part, the Chairman of the Corporation presented a light show showing the Corporation’s plan for a number of projects proposed for investment in the country, the most important of which is the renewable energy file, considering that it is a successful investment and its returns are high.
