Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s press office on Friday issued a statement saying that before heading to Washington, the Iraqi Prime Minister had asked of Lebanese Caretaker Minister of Energy, Raymond Ghajar, and Lebanon’s General Security General Director, Abbas Ibrahim, to visit Baghdad to finalize the fuel grant procedures, in a bid to swiftly resolve the electricity crisis in Lebanon.

He also insisted that most of the oil that would be sent be distributed equally to power plants across Lebanon.
