AL-KHAZEN CONTACTS ABI AL-MOUNA, CONGRATULATING HIM ON HIS NEW “DRUZE SHEIKH AKL” POST

Dean of the Maronite General Council, former Minister Wadih al-Khazen, contacted Sunday Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Mouna to congratulate him, following his appointment by acclamation as the new “Sheikh Al-Aql” of the Unitarian Druze Community.

Al-Khazen affirmed that Sheikh Abi Al-Mouna “will continue the path established by his predecessor, Sheikh Naim Hassan, as he crowns a journey of forty-five years of giving, learning and enlightenment, with a strong monotheistic belief, firm and honorable positions, and in eliminating sectarian and confessional strife, and in establishing reunification.”
