Damascus: Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa received US Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barrack, in the capital city where they discussed the latest developments in the region and issues of common interest. The meeting took place in the presence of Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad al-Shaibani.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, this high-level discussion follows an earlier visit in November by President al-Sharaa to Washington. During this visit, he held a closed meeting with US President Donald Trump, resulting in the signing of important agreements between the two nations.
