Sarafand: Amal Movement on Monday marked the third anniversary of Mohammad Hussein Harbi in Sarafand, with MP Ali Hassan Khalil representing Speaker Nabih Berri.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Khalil accused Israel of daily ceasefire violations and called for a halt to aggression, full withdrawal, and an end to displacement. The lawmaker emphasized the importance of addressing these issues to ensure a stable and peaceful environment in the region.
Khalil rejected direct negotiations with Israel, warning against concessions that could undermine Lebanon's sovereignty. He advocated for diplomacy that secures Lebanon's rights and preserves its territorial integrity. The message was clear: Lebanon should not compromise its national interests in any potential talks.
In addition to his firm stance on negotiations, Khalil stressed the importance of national unity and the respect for sacrifices made by those who have fought for Lebanon's sovereignty. He also highlighted the need for a clear and comprehensive reconstruction plan, one that should be led by the state to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to rebuilding efforts.
