The Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate arrested an accused of stealing motorcycles and women's bags. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: "The detachments of Al-Quds Office for Combating Crime arrested an accused of stealing women's bags riding a motorcycle, in an ambush, after following him and obtaining official approvals." It added: "Upon further investigation, he explicitly confessed to stealing several motorcycles parked in the areas of Al-Bunouk, Palestine Street and Karrada." It indicated that: "The detachments of the Directorate executed judicial arrest warrants against a number of accused and wanted persons in criminal cases, who were brought to justice."
