Beirut: President Joseph Aoun was briefed by Dr. Ameen Albert Rihani, chairman of the Ameen Rihani Committee, and committee members on the second phase of events commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Lebanese writer and intellectual Ameen Rihani.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the program includes a ceremony in November to inaugurate a memorial and unveil a statue of Rihani in his hometown of Freikeh, Metn.
