Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday held a phone call with UNIFIL commander, Deodato Abagnara, offering condolences over the death of an Indonesian peacekeeper whose position in Adchit al-Qusayr came under fire, also injuring another soldier.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Aoun renewed his condemnation of attacks on peacekeeping forces and wished the wounded soldier a swift recovery, praising the sacrifices of UN personnel serving in southern Lebanon.
