Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Thursday met with Justice Minister, Adel Nassar, and Supreme Judicial Council President, Judge Souhail Abboud, to discuss strategies for revitalizing the judiciary and ensuring its independence.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions centered on strengthening the judicial body and enhancing its effectiveness. The talks also reaffirmed the commitment to the principle of judicial autonomy, highlighting the importance of an independent judiciary in upholding the rule of law. The meeting reflects ongoing efforts to reinforce judicial institutions and address challenges within the legal framework.
