Colonists Assault Palestinians and Their Properties Near Hebron

Beirut: Israeli colonists Tuesday attacked Haribat al-Nabi ruin area in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and assaulted Palestinian civilians and their property.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, local sources stated that a number of colonists, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, attacked the area. They assaulted citizens with beatings and stones and ransacked homes, resulting in injuries to residents. One local resident sustained bruises from being beaten, while a couple suffered from the effects of pepper gas. The occupation forces also detained a man following an assault.

Reports indicate that last month, colonists carried out 230 attacks. These incidents were concentrated in the governorates of Nablus and Hebron, with each experiencing 43 attacks. Ramallah followed with 38 attacks, and Jerusalem with 25. In addition to these assaults, colonists perpetrated 68 acts of vandalism and theft of Palestinian property.
