Beirut: Information Minister, Paul Morcos, on Tuesday said after meeting with President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, that a solution lies in negotiations under international auspices, stressing that war only brings further destruction to Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Morcos mentioned that efforts are aligned with Aoun's initiative to secure a ceasefire. He noted ongoing coordination with the Foreign Ministry and international actors to address Israeli attacks on journalists and submit formal protests.

Moreover, Morcos highlighted cooperation with UNESCO, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the United Nations Development Programme on awareness campaigns. He urged the media and public to avoid hate speech due to its risks to civil peace.
