Baabda:President Joseph Aoun welcomed the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon, Monsignor Paolo Borgia, at Baabda Palace. During the meeting, Monsignor Borgia delivered a letter from Pope Leo XIV.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the letter from the Pope expressed gratitude towards President Aoun for his message sent after the Pope's successful surgery. President Aoun's letter had conveyed well wishes for the Pope's health and well-being, both personally and on behalf of the Lebanese people.

In the letter, Pope Leo XIV expressed his appreciation for President Aoun's kind gesture and the sentiments shared in the message. The Pope also extended his apostolic blessing to President Aoun, his family, and the Lebanese people.
